Sales objections, and what to say back
The things buyers say to end the conversation, what a good answer covers, a strong answer, and a five-minute drill to practice it out loud.
At the door
“Not interested”The door is already closing“I’m busy right now”They really are busy“I need to talk to my husband”They mean it, so plan for both“We can’t afford another payment”Their numbers, side by side“We’re moving”Find out how real the move is“I’m not giving you my Social”They are right to be careful
Why practice out loud
Reading a good answer and saying one are different skills. A rep who has only read it speeds up, skips the question and argues. A rep who has said it ten times sounds relaxed, because they have been here before.
Every page here ends with a drill a manager can run before a shift: the buyer’s line, the answer, and what to listen for.
